Starting at the Angel Islington, the route includes, Islington Green, Gibson Square via Upper Street, Theberton Street, Milner Square, Richmond Avenue, Lonsdale Square, Barnsbury Square, Thornhill Square and Thornhill Crescent. All these sites are close together and the route is level at first and then down hill. Each Square garden exhibits a different style of design and management.
