This is a follow-up to our November lecture.

Peabody is leading the regeneration of Thamesmead in SE London where huge change will see up to 20,000 new homes and associated infrastructure being built over the next 30 years. A key part of our programme is making the most of our unique landscape assets – many a result of the GLC’s work when Thamesmead was initially developed as a new town for London.

Dr Phil Askew will lead the tour around some of Thamesmead’s unique landscape and describe how our Green Infrastructure Framework – ‘Living in the Landscape’ is driving our approach to landscape and placemaking by making the most of the extraordinary landscape we own and manage.

Leader: Dr Phil Askew, Director Landscape and Placemaking, Peabody
